Overview
Woooden is a hybrid furniture and interior design studio focused on calm, comfort, and character. The goal of the project was to create an eCommerce experience that feels less like a shop and more like stepping into a thoughtfully designed home. The website needed to sell products while also communicating philosophy, craft, and emotion — without feeling loud or salesy.
Problem
Furniture brands often struggle to balance storytelling with conversion. Clients want to understand the feeling behind the product, not just dimensions and prices. At the same time, an eCommerce site still needs clarity, structure, and trust to support buying decisions.
The challenge was to design a site that feels calm and editorial, yet still works as a functional storefront. The experience had to highlight craftsmanship, process, and values, without overwhelming users or distracting from the products.
Solution
The site was designed around visual breathing room, strong typography, and warm, natural imagery. Instead of pushing products aggressively, the layout guides users through philosophy, process, and story before inviting them into the collection.
Framer was used to build a smooth, responsive experience with subtle interactions, clear product presentation, and a brand tone that feels premium but approachable.
My Role
I designed and built the website end-to-end, translating the brand’s philosophy into a calm, modern digital experience while ensuring the eCommerce flow stayed intuitive and conversion-friendly.
Highlights
Key Takeaway
Woooden shows how an eCommerce website doesn’t have to feel transactional to convert. By leading with mood, craft, and intention, the site creates emotional buy-in first — making the products feel like a natural extension of the story rather than items on a shelf.
